Beth's Art Work
At the end of the school year, Heritage had an art show, so the kids could show off their art work. The jump rope team performed as well. I was having problems with the camera, and it wasn't until afterward that I figured out that there was no card in the camera! I just now figured out how to download the pictures and video from that night. So, this blog post is a bit late!!! Here are pictures of Beth Ann with some of her art work displayed that night.

Tie dye, green cleansers, and Thai food!
Today my friend Robin and her four awesome kids came over for play and tie dye! For the second time, I was the ring leader of tie dying. I really need to get more organized, but it turned out well. I think all the kidlets had fun. We had a spaghetti lunch, and then all the kids played for a while. I got to have a great talk with Robin. Unfortunately, Louis wouldn't leave her little one alone. Louis loves to hug, and other little ones aren't always that receptive to the hugs!

I managed to get some sewing done which always feels good, and then off to another Holistic Moms meeting. Tonight we made "green" cleaners. It felt good to go to the meeting. Sometimes it is easy to slip into a less "holistic" style of living, and it's nice to get a recharge. One of the things that I'm trying to do in our home is green it up a bit. I've gotten a boost to get all the more toxic cleaners out of our house. I know my friend Carrie is (or was) reading a book called - Green Up Your Clean Up. I need to compare some notes with her. After I use the cleaners we made tonight - I'll post a review of them. Beth Ann went with me to the meeting, and she enjoyed making the cleaners. She really gets into environmental issues. I'm so proud of her.
On the way home from the meeting, Beth Ann and I went out for a late dinner. We went to a place called Swing Thai. It was quite chilly, but we sat outside anyway. We shared a pot of jasmine tea, a spring roll, a tofu salad with peanut sauce, and a stir fry. I love the one on one time I get with each of the kidlets. They're growing so fast - too fast! I treasure evenings like tonight.

More Olympics
Yep - still watching the Olympics! So, I'm going to post a lot of pictures and very little commentary. LOL. Today was the Aurora LLL group World Walk for Breastfeeding event. We went to the park and hung out with friends some that I haven't seen in a while, so that was really nice. I ran into a friend that I met through the Mothering boards that I haven't seen in a while. It was a pretty day although a bit hot, so some of us went out for ice cream afterwards!

And just for you Mom - super cute sleeping baby picture!

Time for the Olympics
Well, the Olympics are on which means that my blogging time is pretty much booked for a while! LOL. I'll just post a couple of cute videos today. The first is from a play date at my friend Loelle's house yesterday. The kiddos had a blast. The Mary Poppins soundtrack played almost non stop all day. Here they are having fun with it.
This video is of my entertainment for the day!

Weekend Trip
We went camping outside of Fort Collins this weekend. We caught a real break on the rain. It poured on the way up to the campground, and it took us over two hours to get there which was a real pain. It stopped raining about ten minutes before we got there though, and it barely rained the whole time we were up there. I'm going to skip on the bitching and moaning about the idiots we ran into at the campground because I'm just too tired. I'll probably spend a post ripping them soon but not tonight! Tonight I'm going to focus on the great day we had on Saturday.
The campground had a great playground, and the kids had so much fun there. Ray made a friend right away, and I was so happy! He doesn't always make friends right away like his sisters, so I've been a little nervous about him going to a new school this year. He hit if off right away with this other boy. They had a blast playing. Here's a couple of videos of the kids at the playground. They loved it when Trey gave them a push on the merry go round. The called him the "Big Guy."
After an early lunch, we went into the canyon to find a hiking trail. We found a nice one, and we spent a couple of hours hiking up the canyon and back.

After we finished our hike, we went down to a popular hang out spot on the Poudre River. We played in the river for a while before we went back to the camp.

We came home exhausted, but overall, we had a good trip!

High School Musical
Last night we went with a bunch of friends to a local production of High School Musical. The kids were super excited. They mostly sat still and quiet through the whole thing which was pretty impressive. The play even kept Louis' attention for the most part. I do find it sad that my three theatre experiences since becoming a parent have included High School Musical and Bear in the Big Blue House Live! Ah, well - comes with the job I suppose. I got a bunch of really cute pictures last night that I'm going to upload. My friend Lara took this first one of the six of us!

The alien has arrived!!!
My friend Heather makes and sells tie dyed items. She made this alien tie dye shirt for Trey. Isn't it the coolest?

Here's the back. Ten points to the first person who can tell me what it is!

This morning we all went out for donuts, and we took our "other daughter" Tessa!

I love the way Ray watches our for his brother. He plays with him and makes him laugh all the time. He also loves to teach him things. I love this picture.

After getting donuts, we went to Bedroom Expressions, and we bought Louis his first birthday gift. We bought him the football chair, but this is a picture of him in the basketball one. Isn't he cute?
