Here's Livi the day before the wedding, and that's my hand with my henna tattoo. The girl who did it didn't do a very good job, but it was fun anyway.

Home Sweet Home
Ah, we're home. We're all exhausted, but we're here, and we had a safe trip. Here are a few more pictures from the trip. Here's my boys at the wedding:

Wedding Day
The weather for the wedding was beautiful. The flowers showed up from Hawaii still okay which was questionable for a while! We got lost on the way, and then got really bad directions - twice, and we almost missed the wedding. *sigh* In the end, it was a nice day though. Nick married the girl of his dreams, and he is happy, and that's the most important thing anyway. We've had a great time visiting with family. We're heading back tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to that LONG drive. Trey's parents, sister and her family, and his uncle and his wife all came from out of town. My sister-in-law Robin (Trey's sister) is an amazing photographer, and I'm showing off some of her photos. She took all of them on this entry. Here's one of our family:

Silly Singing Girl
Here's our entertainment for the trip! LOL. Traveling across I80 through Wyoming really isn't that interesting. This is it really:
Wasn't that exciting? Ah well, we got here safely. We're here because my nephew Nicholas is getting married. I really can't believe he's getting married. I have such vivid and fond memories of him as a little boy. Trey and I went down to Dallas for his brother's baby dedication. He was just a little thing maybe four or five. He ran up to me, and I had to carry him around all evening, and he kept giving me lots and lots of kisses! Later that evening he fell asleep in my arms, and now he's getting married. It just doesn't seem possible.
Here's another picture from our road trip. This picture is of an ice cream break that we took in Podunk, Idaho!

New planter
I'm almost embarrassed to post the first picture of my latest project. One side of our house in the back was just nasty! I decided to tackle it today. I went to Lowe's and bought more landscaping bricks - 160 to be exact (I got more than I needed today because I'll be using them for other projects). I had to move them from the pile onto the cart and then from the cart into the car. Luckily when I got home I had help unloading them. Actually, Trey unloaded most of them and his mother, Olivia, and I helped. The poor van was riding low! LOL.

I got my project done though, but it took all day. Whew. Here's the before and after pictures:

Of course, I also spent nearly an hour - you guessed it - PULLING DANDELIONS!!! Ack!
Louis took a short nap with his sister today. He laid on the couch with her and fell asleep. I had to get a pictures because it was just too cute.

My new spice racks!
Since it was raining today, I worked inside. I got some painting done including the area where we took down a cabinet. The idea was to hang shelves and metallic spice racks. After I got done with painting that area, Trey hung the spice racks. I think they look great! Now, we just have to hang the shelves (and put doors on the cabinets, of course.). Here are the before and after pictures:

Here's what Louis was doing while I was painting: *sigh*

Rocks, rocks, and more rocks
Before we can sell the house, we have to fix the back fence. The people who lived here before us, did some weird things. Someone piled rocks against the back fence which is pushing the fence over. We have to move all those rocks before we can fix the fence. I had the idea of giving the kids a chance to make some money by helping me move the rocks. They were pretty into it. We made some good headway today. All the bugs in the rocks were pretty creepy, but the job has to be done. Two or three more days like today, and I think we can have it done and be ready to fix the fence. Here are before and after pictures from today.

Here are some pictures of my helpers! Beth Ann helped after she got home, but I forgot to get the camera out.

Oh yea, and I also pulled up dandelions - again - for another hour and a half. Did I mention I hate dandelions?
