Okay, I knew it would happen. I mean, come on. I
knew at some point the kids would decide it's better to be with their friends than frumpy, old mom - eventually. Well, it came sooner than I thought! LOL. Tonight I took my daughter and her good friend, Emily, out to dinner and a movie at the Cinema Grill. I was instructed to sit at another table!
I just won't tell them how great it was to sit at my own table - leisurely dine on my movie food - laugh at all the corny jokes in the movie - and BE BY MYSELF - well sorta by myself! LOL. I'll just keep quiet about all that. She did come over and give me a hug right before the movie.
