Ode to an Ugly Buick

The tow truck came today to pick up our Buick that we donated to charity. Of course, the only ignition key broke, so there was no way to put the car into neutral. The car was in the garage. The guy who owned the tow truck hooked it up and pulled it out of the garage, and now there are skid marks in the garage and all the way down the driveway! Oh well. The Buick is gone! That was a good car. When we bought it, it was 14 years old, and it only had 36,000 miles on it. We rode in that car to the hospital to have Beth Ann. Now, it's a tax write off!!! Here's the car on the tow truck.

Here's the skid marks:

I'm on to my next landscaping project, this time on the other side of house. There's more moving rocks and laying landscaping brick. I got quite a bit done today. I'm hoping to get it finished tomorrow. Here's the before picture:

Now that the van can go in the garage, we can fix the the bald spot in the yard where we always got out of the van! The kids helped prepare the ground and lay down the seed mulch.

Finally, Trey's parents got here today. They got in safely, and the kids are very excited that they are here. They'll be here until Thursday. Here's a picture of the kids with their grandparents.
